Tivoli is a popular music venue and cultural center in Utrecht, Netherlands. Tivoli is run by a non-profit organisation that has existed since 1979 in its current appearance. The original organisation runs back to 1823 and functioned as a relaxing place outside the city's Stadsbuitengracht.
Tivoli has two locations: Tivoli Oudegracht 245 and Tivoli de Helling 7, which is an approximately 10 minutes walk from the Oudegracht. The Oudegracht location has a capacity of approximatelly 1200 people, De Helling 400 people. One of Hollands major venues (together with Paradiso, Paard van Troje, 013 and Melkweg), Tivoli is located in the historic premises in Utrechts city centre, and features annually more than 300 productions. Apart from pop concerts, there are dance evenings every Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
The Oudegracht location is a Rijksmonument.
